Birthday Cake for my Neighbor Steve
I made this cake last year for my neighbor Steve's 50th birthday. Steve is a passionate biker and adores motorcycles since I came to live in his neighborhood. He is very nice person and he likes to ride his motorcycle very much. Last year for his 50th birthday his wife decided to make him a party and to invite all his biker friends and asked me to make him a cake as she knew that I enjoy creating unusual cakes.
Read my AC/DC Birthday Cake decorating techniques and if you follow my instructions you will be able to create it yourself. This is two layers cake. Each layer is made out of the same ingredients and between them is chocolate butter cream. I made layers like this: I beat egg yolks with sugar. In another bowl, I mixed egg whites with sugar and beat well.

I added whites to the yolks, added flour and mixed all well. I poured the mixture into the greased and floured pan and beaked into the preheated oven for about 30 min. When baked I took it out of the pan and left it to cool completely. For baking I used round pan and baked two of them.
For the chocolate butter cream I beat eggs with powdered sugar, vanilla, and cooked on the steam. When cooked I cooled it and in cooled mixture I added butter and mixed well.
On a round plate I placed a layer and greased it with the chocolate butter cream. On the cream I put another layer and again greased the layer with chocolate butter cream. The whole cake I covered with fondant I colored in black with food color. On top of the cake I wrote AC/DC and Steve 50 using colored fondant and I also put motorcycle toy I bought in store. It looked very attractive don't you agree.
