Big bone dog cake for my little dog
I made this funny cake when we bought our dog.
He was so small and cute and we were all happy when we brought him to our home. That's why I decided to celebrate that day and made this Big Bone Dog Cake.
Now I will show you how to make it and if you read my big bone dog cake decorating techniques, you will see that this cake is not very difficult to make.
For this cake, I made a chocolate layer. First, I beat egg yolks with sugar, then I added egg whites and mixed all well. After that, I added flour, baking powder, milk, walnuts and melted chocolate. I mixed all ingredients well with a mixer until combined. Then I poured it into the prepared pan and baked it in preheated oven for about 25 min.
I took it out of the oven and left it in the pan to cool for about 5 min. Then, I took it out of the pan and left it to cool completely. In the meantime, I made vanilla pudding cream. First, I boiled milk with powdered sugar then I added vanilla pudding and cooked it until thicken. When the pudding thickened I moved it from the heat and left it to cool. When it was cooled I added butter and beat until creamy.
Then I started with decoration. First, I placed the chocolate layer and greased it with prepared vanilla pudding cream. I covered the cake with fondant and then I made the bones, letters and dogs out of modeling chocolate. Also I added some flowers on the cake and that's it.
My cake looked very nice, it didn't take me much time to make it and what is more important it tasted very good.
